In 1921, in a trade journal 'Printer's Ink' Fred R Barnard used the phrase "One look is worth a thousand words".
He was promoting the use of images in advertising, something very commonplace today, but still a basic trick that many businesses fail to use.
Almost any advertisement, flyer, marketing campaign, website or promotional item will be vastly enhanced by the careful use of selected images.
Careful being the main word here. Flood any promotion with images and your customers won't know where to look, use none at all and they will have lost interest before they know who you are.
Today's society is a very visual one, whatever medium you plan to use to reach your customers has to be designed specifically for that market.
